Actually just came here because I searched out Winnipeg and the site came up. Your site's subtitle is "food,drink,people,places" and I gotta say, people always are what makes the meal for me. I had a dinner in Siena one time with a person that took the cake if I can use the cliche. Anyways, that was one of the best meals of my life even if that person is gone, and I find more and more, as I age, that it is the specific that matters, not the recitation of same old recipes. What I wouldn't do to have that same, specific meal again.
